LABORATORY OF MINERAL PROCESSING

The laboratory was organized in 1962 year. The head of Laboratory was academic of Academy of Science Tajik SSR Petr Mikhailovich Solozhenkin in during 20 years. At present the Head of Laboratory is doctor tech. science Zinaida Alexseevna Zinchenko.

The fundamental research areas of the Laboratory were :

- Study of interaction mechanism of reagents with surface of minerals in flotation’s process.

- Increase of completeness and mineral complex using.

- Creation of research foundations of reagents synthesis with tasked qualities.

For Study of physics and chemistry process of the flotation, staff of Laboratory ingrained some of first broadly for their surveys the methods of magnetic radiospectroscopy, including electronic paramagnetic resonance , nuclear magnetic-, nuclear gamma-, nuclear quarterypolic resonance.

Spin-labelled reagents- analogues of floating reagents were synthesized and proposed first for study of their mechanism interaction with surface of minerals. The applying of spin- labelled reagents allowed to determine a value of sorption, nature and shape of the reagents fixing.

Researches in area of flotation technology of non-ferrous and rare metal ores were directed to elaboration of new flowsheets and regimes with using of physics and chemical action on the pulp by applying of the broad standardization of the new flotation agents and methods of the ores flotation.

The criterions for the synthesis of the directional action effective reagents were proposed, capable to provide complex preparation of ores.

Deep study of these questions allowed us to propose the new effective reagents with set properties, to develop progressive ecological pure technologies, to involve to preparation rebellious ores of complex mineral composition, to increase the recovery of the value components. The technologies of the mercury-stibium, copper-bismuth, tungsten, lead-zinc, celestine, boron, gold and the other ores preparation were developed.

The special attention to survey of new floating reagents had given always in the laboratory. The quite broadest selection of the potentially interesting chemical compounds and complicated compositions were purposed and in-depth studied here, part of them was suggested as collectors.

Also, there were studied the reagents of biological beginning: the sulfate-reducing bacteria’s, microbial fat, lipids, various fungi’s, yeast biomass and etc.

The novelty of the worked out methods, reagents was confirmed by more than 200 author’s certificates.

Purposely using the local mines for requirement of the phosphoric enterprises, the technology of the obtaining concentrates from aplitovidny granites of Takob’s deposit was elaborated.

The floating technology of the phosphorous ores of the Rivat, s and Karatag,s deposits of the Tajikistan preparation was developed with obtaining concentrates, applicable for obtaining of the phosphor powder.

The technological schema, allowing complex to extract all the useful components was elaborated for gold mercury-stibium ores of bottom horizon of Jijicrut deposit.

Tajikistan has a range of deposits with “persistent” gold ores with thin impregnation of gold in sulphides, which it is impossible to extract from ore satisfactorily impossible by cyanidation method. There was developed nitrate The technology of preparation by nitrogen asid of gold-arsenic flotation concentrates of Chore’s deposit ore with subsequent leaching of cyanidation cakes was worked out. In the present it is studied kinetics of leaching both cyanides and sulphurcontaining solvents. In addition the technologies of preparation of the antimony ores allowing to exclude from process toxic salts of the heavy metals being activator of the antimonite are developed.

It is assumed research of the development of the technology of the refractory gold-copper ores preparation with using the method of hydrochlorination.

A range of our technologies and methods with using of the new flotation reagents is introduced in production.

The regaent “Viravnitel-A” was introduced in the PA “Yakutalmaz”, that allowed to encrease the recovery of thin classes diamonds.

The method of blacken jewelry was introduced in Dushanbe, jewelry enterprise.

The reagent “Okcafor-1107”- a product of the condensation of the alcylphenole with formaldehydes was proposed for flotation of the polymetallic ores. The reagent was introduced in preparation of “Adrasman’s” GOK silver - lead and copper-bismuth ores, that allowed to increase recovery Pb, Bi, Cu, Au, Ag to concentrate and to get economic effect about 2, 2 million USA dollars. “Okcafor-1107” is an effective regents and for flotation of the antimony ores, especially arsenic ores, the enrichment of which has certain difficulties. “Karbamat-MH” is introduced in enrichment of oxide antimony ores at Kadamjay’s antimony plant.

The reagent mode, including as collector the modified acetic acid, is introduced at PA “ Tajikzoloto” in Kajrakkum’s mine, that allowed substantially to increase the recovery of the gold to the flotation concentrate.

It was developed and introduced a technology schema allowing to obtain cryolite - alumina concentrate, applicable for obtaining aluminum in process of the preparation of Tajik aluminum enterprise wastes.
