Head of Laboratory DSc, professor, academician of the AS of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honored Worker of the Republic of Tajikistan, the State Prize of the Republic of Tajikistan in the field of science and technics named after Abuali ibn Sina (2003), Winner ISESKO (Islamic Organization for the Advancement of Science, Technology and Culture (2003 ) in the field of chemistry, the owner of a large estate VIPO-Gold Medal of the World Intellectual Property Organization.

The main focus of scientific research of laboratory are develop the theoretical and technological bases of the synthesis of new corrosion-resistant aluminum, zinc alloy for the needs of new technics, as well as the theory of corrosion-resistant materials of aluminum and its alloys.


Cand.chem.sci., lead. res., the winner of the award of Republic Tajikistan of a name of Ismoili Somoni for youth Eshov B. B. for the processing of experimental results on the corrosion of aluminum alloys.

Employees of laboratory researched and built about 150 ternary systems involving aluminum. A number of hitherto unknown metal-chemical laws that characterize the processes of alloy-formation in ternary systems of aluminum with rare-earth (REM) and alkali-earth (AEM)) metals. Found a number of new ternary of intermetallics. For the first time held a singular triangulation of the ternary systems of Al-rare-earth metal -component of aluminum alloys and aluminum-alkali-earth metal components of aluminum alloy in the areas rich in aluminum, and the interrelation between the component composition of the system, its phase composition and the nature of phase transitions . Obtained relationship served as the scientific basis for the development of new alloys and identifying areas of state diagrams, the most promising for the development of materials with desired properties.

Comparison of systems of aluminum with participation REM with systems formed AEМ, finds some generality in character of interaction of components in systems where the third component are magnesium, copper, silicon and germanium. The regularities of high-temperature processes and electrochemical corrosion of aluminum alloys with elements of the periodical table established. Mathematical models describing the dependence of physical-chemical and electrochemical properties of multicomponent alloys, the structure was obtained, and with their help has been selected composition of alloys with optimal properties.

Employees of laboratory, winners of the award of Republic Tajikistan of a name of Ismoili Somoni for youth cand.chem.sci., s.r. Berdiev A.E. and cand.chem.sci., s.r. Obidov Z.R. study electrochemical behavior of alloys on potensiostat ПИ-50-1.1.

By employees has developed and protected by patents of the Russian Federation (RF) and Republic of Tajikistan (RТ) more than 65 inventions, 15 from which are introduced in manufacture. Including aluminum-strontium alloys under patents of the Russian Federation №1225263, №1245612 with 1988y. №719156 with 1990y. are used in Isfarinsky hydro metallurgical plant (nowadays joint-stock company "Tamokhush").

A few of the invention are used in PA "Electromashina" (Chelyabinsk), PA "Vector" (Yekaterinburg), Ural HMO (Yekaterinburg), PA "Omsk electro-mechanical plant", LEMC(St. Petersburg). In SUE TALCO was been introduced the technology for producing synthetic iron and ferro-silicon from waste products with an annual economic effect of about 1 million $.
