LABORATORY OF ORGANIC SYNTHESIS

The laboratory of organic synthesis was among first two laboratories, from which, actually, and the history of a chemical science of Tajikistan began and which have begun to function simultaneously with the beginning of activity of Institute of chemistry.

The first manager by laboratory, and actually by her organizer was the academician of the Academy Sciences of USSR Nikytin Vasily Ivanovich. His scientific ideas have determined directions of researches of laboratory for many decades forward. Nikytin V. was the representative of A.A. Favvorsky school, glorified the Soviet science by outstanding achievement in the field of chemistry of not limiting connections and first of all of chemistry of acetylene.

For a rather small interval of time the employees of laboratory of organic synthesis receive the number of unique data concerning synthesis acethylenyc glicerines and their simple ethers, study of reaction of oxidation, dehidratation and dehydration of these compound`s. In the appreciable contribution to achievement of laboratory at this stage have brought A.Zegelman, V. Sidorenko, Е.Glazunova, S. Sabirov, N. Glebova, Y. Sarkisov, M.Narnitskaya,M. Samiyev, I. Potapova, and others.

The laboratory of organic synthesis was by base for creation the next years on its basis of laboratory of pharmacology, fibre-forming of polymers and sector fyziko-chemical methods of research.

In the period with 1970 for 1990 laboratory headed the member of corr. Academy Sciences of Republik of Tajikistan, doctor of chemical sciences, professor Е.Glazunova. Under her initiative the preparation of the experts is begun in the field of modern fyziko -chemical methods in conducting centres of science former USSR, purchase of the appropriate unique equipment and wide introduction of these methods in research practice of laboratory.

MUZAFFAR DJ. ISOBAYEV

Doctor of chemical Sciences, Professor.

The Head of the Laboratory of Organic Synthesis and Scientific Adviser of the Project: " Synthesis of Structural Analogues of Chemical Substances Separated from the Carbohydrate of the Tajikistan’s Sources,” Manager of the ISTC/USDA-Institute of Chemistry AS RT Partner Project project T-1436.

Among such trained specialists were candidates and doctors of sciences in area of Mass- spectrometry - Kh.Khafizov, A. Bakaev, and N. Yusupova, in area of UR-spectroscopy - I.Grygina and NMR spectroscopy M. Isobaev.

Currently the Laboratory of Organic Synthesis in close cooperation with the Laboratory of Pharmacology is conducting investigation on biological activity of the synthesized compounds. As the result of the investigations it was found new antiepileptic substance “Carbatine” which was passed the clinical testing and recommended by the Ministry of Health SSSR to industrial production.

Leading Scientists, Candidate of Chemical Sciences E.Kh. Pulatov and PhD student M.Turdialiev during the experiments to establish elemental composition of compounds.

At the 1970-1980 Laboratory started to study the in area of chemical composition of the oil of “Hippophae” cultivated at the Pamir (N.Gachechiladze, I.Potapova, E.Muhtarova) and others medical plants. At that time cycle of investigation on synthesis of 1,2,5-trimethylpiperidone’s acetylene derivatives (G.Sanikovich, acetylenic amine derivatives of (M.Samiev, E.Venger) and Benzyl-ethers of acetylene triols were finalized (V.Fedulov).

On base UR- and NMR-spectroscopy data the character of intra molecular interactions in the acetylene glycerol and their simple ethers was investigated. (I. Grigina, M.Isobaev).

The investigations on synthesis and stereochemistry of Platinum/acetylene containing ligands also were begun (L.Sichinava)

Started from 1990 г. the Laboratory of Organic Synthesis is headed by the Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor Muzafar Jumaevich Isobaev.

For the last time the direction of investigation have some changed and addressed to more deep investigation of the stereochemistry and characters of intra molecular interactions and configurational and conformational peculiarity unsaturated and heterocyclic compound and estimation the relation “Structure-Activity” in the set of biologically active compounds. To purpose of resolving this problems the synthesis and separation of on optically active isomers of chemical analogue of «Carbatine", and also preparation of the optically active thiasolydinthyones with chyral center at the cycle carbon atom was carried out (T. Abdullayev) .

During the comparative study of the regulators of growth of activity Phenyl acetylene Alcohols the influence intra molecular of interactions on their activity was revealed (D. Khsanova).

The levels of influence of the structural factor on activity vicinal hydroxyl group to the process of formation of intra molecular o hydrogen bonds estimated.

The impact of hydroxyl groups to the conformation of eninic trioles and pyperydols containing acetylene bond via the specific interactions like Hydrogen bond with the electron dense acetylene bond or Nitrogen electron pair is investigated . Also the possibility of transmission of weak magnetic fields through P- and П- electron dense system (M. Isobaev) was studied.

The synthesis derivative thyazolydinthiones including sulfamides, amides is carried out, reaction ability of the endocyclic of atom of nitrogen in the reactions of nucleophile replacement investigated. The bacteria static activity of thyazolydinthione derivative was revealed. (M. Isobaev, E. Pulatov,R. Husenov, M. Usupova). The state of the thion-thiole tautomeric equilibrium and condition to separation of individual tautomer was investigated. (M. Isobaev, E. Pulatov, R. Husenov)

The chemical characteristic of the "Amarante" oil which cultivated in Tajikistan to purpose of medical application investigated (M. Isobaev ,L.Normatova). Laboratory prepared more than 40 candidate and 3 doctors.

The laboratory has scientific collaboration with Universities: Albany, USA, New Lisbon, Portugal, North Dakota, USA and the Institute of Chemical Physics, Moscow, Russia.
